I would say that an air box is better than air filters because it isn't sucking hot air from under the hood like the air filters do. You can notice the motor doesn't like the hot air as much as the cold, after running it a while it loses some of its bottom end power. I would say a high flow air box is the best.

It has twin pipes, 16:1 compression heads, TRA primary racing clutch, a different computer box, air filters. Its considered a mod in the racing world.

it actually does, you can't really tell in this picture. And its a race sled so the mod specs refure to the class you would run it in.
